Andrew Cornwell's annual pocket guidebook to road cycling in Britain is now in its third year.

Cycling 2014 is a unique guidebook, providing independent reviews and factual data on over 800 road cycling events across England, Scotland and Wales. Everything from early season reliability rides via summer Sportives to a December 'Mince Pie Run' is included in this 304 page book.

The biggest chapters cover Sportive, Charity and Audax rides. But there are also plenty of leisure events, night rides and local CTC rides too. The racing chapters include all the highlights of the British professional road race scene for the 2014 season, plus time trial and hill climb sections.

Event information is complemented by reference chapters helping you to find a local bike shop, a charity fundraising challenge, a cycling holiday, a good website or a worthwhile cycle show or festival. Hundreds of cycling clubs and local CTC sections have their own listings.

Three seasons and growing

Andrew first wrote his pocket guide ahead of the 2012 season, to fill a gap in the market for an up-to-date and independent guide for cyclists wanting to plan for the season ahead, whether riding themselves or watching top-level racing. The second edition for 2013 saw an expansion, with new chapters on clubs and CTC sections added.

For 2014, an online update service will be added, exclusively available to buyers of the printed book.

The vast majority of copies are sold online via the Cycling Press website which is also the place to go to for any special offers such as membership and trade discounts.
